Silent Bob is not part of the Colonial Fleet

Despite a lot of buzzing around the blogosphere, Kevin Smith will not be directing an ep of Battlestar Galactica. Seems there was some hesitation, some confusion and some miscommunication -- and very capable noir director John Dahl will be the celebrity "name" director. I love The Last Seduction (and Red Rock West) and think Dahl will do a great job. Though hopefully, it won't be an excursion into "noir" for BSG, because the last time they tried that, the result was "Black Market." And we all know how to feel about that one, right?
