What about a vampire mobster?

Seconds after the much-discussed season finale of The Sopranos, I immediately thought of the end to another of my favorite show, Angel. While the circumstances of their "demise" differ (HBO would have loved to continue with The Sopranos; the WB treated Angel much like Phil Leotardo's head, so they could put on more poorly written/acted teen angst crap and reality pablum, forcing Whedon and crew to recalibrate the ending with just a few weeks left in shooting) the resulting endings are remarkably similar.
